You're getting married on an island? Yes! It is a beautiful sanctuary and a magical place.

How will everyone get there?

All guests should arrive by 10 a.m. at Squam Lake Science Center Lake Charters, 28 NH-113, Holderness, NH 03245. Charter boats will bring guests to and from the island.

Do I need to be able to swim? No!

Do I need a life preserver? Yes, if you are under 13 years old.

You're really getting married outside in September? Yes!

Dress appropriately. Dress to be comfortable. We do not expect formal wear.

What happens if it is raining? We will notify everyone of an alternate indoor location nearby for the ceremony. Reception details stay the same.

Do I need to stay overnight? No!

But it's a beautiful time of year to be at Squam and in the foothills of the White Mountains, and it might be easier than traveling from a distance. So, why not?
